This sequence from my short film ‘Boy on a Bike’ captures a brief moment of freedom after a tumultuous family confrontation. I wanted to use the transition from black and white to colour to mirror that brief sense of escapism before reality hits back. ‘Boy On A Bike’ explores themes of lost youth and the search for peace in a hectic world. Within hours, this clip reached thousands.
